ABOUT US
A Legacy of Innovation
The driving force behind SKIL has always been innovation, starting with the invention of the first portable electric handsaw in 1924. This innovation quickly led to the development of the SKILSAW MODEL 77, which changed the construction market forever.
In 2017, Chervon acquired Skil Power Tool Brand from Bosch. In 2018, the company rebranded Skil (including the logo) and announced new 12V and 20V cordless power tools. SKIL then expanded to offer a full line of professional power tools that could handle almost any task, with patented technology and purposeful innovations that solves real jobsite challenges.
Today, every SKIL product is the result of extensive end-user research, consumer input, computer assisted design and rigorous testing, delivering the power and performance you need to do your best work —- plus, the features are smarter you’ll wonder how you’ll work without them.
